Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how data is collected, used, and stored by our service, which facilitates quick joining of video meetings on Cisco video terminals by entering the meeting address (URL, smartphone number, or SIP URI) via a smartphone or computer.

1. Data Collection

The system collects the following data during its operation:

2. Purpose of Data Collection

The data is collected solely to facilitate the video terminal’s connection to the specified video meeting.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

4. Data Security

Data is transmitted unencrypted and may be accessible to system owners. Users should be aware of the potential risks of unencrypted data transmission.

5. User Rights

Users cannot manually access, view, or delete data within the system. The system automatically handles data deletion as outlined above.

6. How the System Works

  1. The user initiates the process by clicking a configured button on the video terminal, which displays a random 6-digit code. This starts a WebSocket connection between the video terminal and the server, waiting for a meeting address for up to 1 minute.
  2. The user enters the meeting address and the 6-digit code on a webpage or app. The server matches the code to the awaiting WebSocket connection and sends the meeting address to the video terminal.
  3. The video terminal joins the meeting upon receiving the meeting address.

7. Limitations

The system is designed for quick, temporary data processing and does not provide additional features such as manual data access or deletion by users.

8. Contact Information
